Bunker Brawler — Live Bait Rod

Built for the live-bait game — bunker and eels drifted or lobbed to stripers and bluefish — the Bunker Brawler is a 7'6", medium-heavy power, moderate action rod with the backbone to cast heavy live bait without tearing it off the hook and the fight-ending power to turn big fish away from structure. The name says it plainly: this rod exists to soak the biggest, liveliest bait you can find and brawl with whatever eats it.

• Moderate loading: A softer overall bend than the plugging-style Buzzards Bay Ghost, built to lob heavy live bait gently on the cast and cushion headshakes on the fight without pulling hooks.
• Heavy-bait casting range: Tuned for ½–3 oz bait rigs — live eels, snag-and-drop rigs, or bunker chunks — with enough backbone in the butt section to bully big stripers and bluefish out of rips and structure.
• Bite-resistant build: Guide spacing and blank layup account for wire or heavy mono leader clearance, standing up to bluefish abrasion without sacrificing sensitivity to a soft take.
• Tier-built components: Standard ships with stainless guides and EVA split grips; Premium upgrades to titanium guides and EPDM split grips — lighter, more sensitive, and a tackier all-day hold. Both acid-wrapped, casting or spinning.
