SouthCoast Marauder — Inshore Spinning Rod

Built to roam the whole SouthCoast inshore game, the SouthCoast Marauder is an all-around saltwater spinning rod that takes whatever's in front of it — schoolie and slot stripers, blues, false albacore, fluke, seabass, scup. The name is the rod's whole job: a raider with no single target. Pick your length and power, and point it at your water.

• Sensitivity with a spine: The St. Croix SCII Saltwater blank keeps a responsive, fast tip for feeling the take, with a lower section that has the backbone to set hard and steer fish off structure.
• Length to suit the water: 7'0" for boat work and tight quarters; 7'6" for casting reach off the beach, jetty, or bow.
• Built to fish, not to baby: Stainless guides and a saltwater reel seat, casting or spinning, ready for sand, spray, and a long season.
