Coxes Ledge Reaper — Bluewater Rod

Built for the long run out to Cox's Ledge and the grounds beyond, the Coxes Ledge Reaper is our heaviest build — the rod with the spine to turn a tuna and the composure to jig or cast all day. Now available in two lengths, from a workhorse 7'3" tuna-turner to a longer, heavier 7'10" built for the biggest fish in the fleet.

Bluewater Performance Features

• Tuna-turning backbone: Both lengths carry a deep spine that puts the brakes on a screaming fish and gains line back when the fight goes vertical under the boat.
• Built for the rail: The 7'3" leverages a big fish off the gunwale while staying easy to cast and clear the rail on the troll-and-cast; the 7'10" trades a little quickness for extra leverage and reach on the biggest runs.
• Tier-built components: Standard ships with stainless guides; Premium upgrades to a titanium guide train — corrosion-proof and lighter for the rod you fish hardest and farthest from the dock. Both builds include an aluminum reel seat with double-locking nuts, casting or spinning.
